TIVOLI

  Tivoli
Milford Sound in New Zealand There are several ways to entertain yourselves in Copenhagen. The famous Strøget or classic Nyhavn. Amusement parks or museeums. You can find almost anthing in Copenhagen, but there is one thing that’s always a safe bet - Tivoli.

Tivoli is the number one of visitors. It is the most popular tourist destination in the whole Scandinavia, but it is both good and bad. It is not so high number of visitors for no reason. They wouldn’t get so many visitors f they were not worth it. There is certainly plenty to do. You do not have time to see and do everything after just having been in Tivoli once. Here is a very large variation. The problem is that this can be a bit of a ¨tourist trap ¨. Prices are rising and quality of food is sinking. A clever solution to the problem of food is simply to bring food from home or any take-away outside Tivoli. It is welcome to bring food and eat it inside. For example, in the middle of Tivoli is a large and cozy lake with several dining areas to eat your take-out food.
Tivoli works for the peaceful person, with its park areas and small side events, but it is those who enjoy speed and excitement that will have the most fun here. Sometimes Tivoli’s seen as an amusement park for children. It is partly true. Here are rides for small and large, but if you think Tivoli is not enough for you and want even more excitement, head to the Bakken, which is located 15 kilometers north of Copenhagen.
Like many other things you do outdoors it’s often a lot more fun if the weather is good. Take the opportunity to go there when the weather is okay, not too good because in that case, it will be full of people and too long lines for the rides. Also note that it must not be summer, for you to go there. Tivoli is very beautiful in winter, with its two million lights that lights up the area. Tivoli can be extremely cozy and beautiful, especially in the winter!
One of the funniest and most interesting rides at Tivoli is without a doubt ¨The Star Flyer ¨. That’s a carousel where you sit in swings 262 feet above the ground with a dispensable view. You can look all over Copenhagen and its spectacular constructions, the Øresund Bridge and in clear weather all the way to Malmo.
The finishing touch with Tivoli is its location. It’s right next to the main train station. Although you live in Malmo or have plans to take you there after your visit, it is only 30 minutes from door to door.
Conclusion: You must mention Tivoli when talking about Copenhagen.
